摘要
Before isolating the sperm cells from pollen or pollen tubes of spinach, Spinacia oleracea L., we must know their ultrastructure, i.e. the organelle content and the membrane compilation and also the techniques with which the sperm cells can be grown in vitro, after which haploid plants can be regenerated from these cells. This chapter deals with the first part of this research, namely the structure, its organelle contents and the membrane compounds.
