Symbiotic functions of rumen microbial community in dairy cows 收藏

乳头奶牛中瘤胃微生物群落的共生功能
摘要
The rumen is a specialized organ that is the first chamber in a ruminant animal's alimentary canal and allows dairy cows to get nourishment from nondigestible plant fibers and cellular components. Ruminant animals' rumen flora consists of bacteria, protozoa, and fungi, and the rumen content varies from animal to animal. Research into how the rumen flora interacts with the host ruminant animal can improve feed utilization and milk production will provide significant results in the future.
